I think if Setapp's catalog really gets almost all your apps squared away, and you don't look for alternatives elsewhere, it's probably a great deal. But then if you also use a bunch of other apps, like Diagrams, Unite, TablePlus, Paw, Dash, Paste, ForkLift, DropZone, PathFinder, etc, it becomes much more persuasive. A year into using Setapp would cost $120, while just buying those apps would have been $43. Suppose for example that you only use Bartender, iStat Menus, Yoink, and Paletro - some of my favorites on there.īartender is $15, iStat Menus is $12, Yoink is $9, and Paletro is $7. If you only use some of the apps on Setapp, you'd probably be better off buying them outright. ![]()
